Horse's Name: Rocky
Update: This gelding has a nasal discharge and looks like he is getting sick - getting him off the lot as quick as possible is advisable.
15 - 18 yr old, 15.3+h, blk gaited gelding. This sweet gelding is very kind and gentle. He is a favorite!!! He is easy to handle on the ground, tack up and ride. He is gaited and very willing. He did trip a few times during assessment but did everything asked of him willingly. He loved being loved on and has a great disposition. He has a big frame and a kind eye. As the photos display he has the kindest eye and even though he is at the feedlot he is taking everything in stride. For video please go to
. Assessments are offered as a courtesy only. Pre-purchase Vet Checks/Professional assessments can be arranged at the interested buyer's expense. There is no mandatory quarantine upon purchase, though it is highly recommended once the animal leaves the Feedlot. Additional pictures and Videos, if available, can be found on the Bulletin Board.

I am interested in Rocky.  I have never rescued a horse before and am unsure about how to go about it.  Im also concerned about him being sick.  So is there a way I can find out how he is doing now and what the process is to rescue horses?

Thank you,  Deon
