Rodeo  $576
2 - 3 yr old, 14.2h, bay roan, Warm Springs Indian Reservation gelding.  It looks like he is having some teeth trouble so consulting a professional is advised.  Trail riders if you are looking for a project for next year here is a Warm Springs gelding.  He is stout, with solid bone, excellent feet, very friendly disposition and level headed.  He is halter broke and willing but has no formal riding training.  Would make a great trail horse as horses born in the wild are know for their sturdiness and surefooted abilities.

The two Rez horses make me very sad.  If I had money, these would be the ones I would take.  I would not leave them on the lot one more second.

They both are nice little horses and I bet Sam is right that they would be someone's best trail buddy.

pretty soon these horses wont be available to buy at the feedlot.... The NCAI past a resolution to open a slaughter plant in Warm Springs Area. One of the ways they can do this is that the on resevation land it is considered souvreign nation and not subjected to the same rules as US. They are a big backer of reopening slaughter plants in the US. It will bring control of the herds, money and jobs to the area...blah  blah

That's so sad about the slaughter plant there. These two guys are super cute and sweet. They are going to be nice horses for somebody if they can get outta there. I love this guy's build and coloring, very pretty boy.

That is MADDENING!  Of all people to respect horses and then do something like THAT!!!  I know unemployment issues are at the forefront here, but seriously, how can ANYONE make a living slaughtering horses and live with themselves?  Big-time hypocritical.  And sick.   Evil or Very Mad

Sam told me this a few years ago.  She said it was not yet public knowledge regarding the slaughter house at Warm Springs.
