Duke    $550

9 yr old, 15h bay grade gelding.  This guy is very friendly and will follow you around.  He has the looks of a Yakama Wild Pony.  he is easy to ride, sure footed and gentle.  he walk, trotted and cantered without issue and was a nice horse to be around.  He would make a nice all around horse for someone looking for a smaller horse that is solidly build with strong legs and feet.  Has an old wire cut that has a superficial scar

He looks very "uphill".  What does Sam think of him as a dressage prospect?

Sam says:

Could be, sure. He sure has a warmblood looking neck.  He is a nice mover with straight legs Smile

He looks like he'd be a beautiful mover. Really fancy.

We rescued and re-homed a blind mustang gelding last year that was built like this. Watching him trot and canter out in the field was like magic, just breathtaking. I was sad to see him leave because he was so fun to watch out in the field. He was like a little Lusitano or something. The mane and tail were lavishly thick and long, too. And he had a wonderful disposition, was very kind and calm and sweet.

He has been bailed but the girl is waffling because she's frightened of the possibility of strangles.  Sam told her to take a few days and do some research before she made a final decision.  For now, he's in QT and he's safe, either way.
