All "on the feedlot" horses belong to a kill buyer and are destined for slaughter in Canada. We do not know the history of these horses and are only able to represent what we experience while handling them. Buying a slaughter-bound horse has no guarantee except that you are saving a life.
BUYERS represents, warrants, and declares that he/she is aware of the following in connection with this sale:
A) Any statement made by original placement person regarding the listed animal, either orally, written, or within this description are merely opinions and are made or given solely as a courtesy to those considering purchasing this horse, and in no way amounts to claims, representations or warranties as to the temperament, health, mental disposition, or suitability for purpose of the animal for BUYER’S intended use.
B) BUYERS releases, discharges, indemnifies and holds harmless original placement person from and against any and all claims, liens, damages, losses, and causes of action which maybe asserted by BUYERS and all third parties for injury or damage to all persons, property, or things whatsoever caused directly or indirectly by purchased animal.
Truck deadline is
Home offers need to be in as soon as possible

However, quarantine is advised as strangles, lice and worm infestation are still possible issues.
If you want the horse to come to Camelot Farm until you can pick the horse up it will cost $15 per day plus $30 to haul.
Arrangements and payment must be made ahead of time 509-952-3866.
Cinnamon Stick ~ on the feedlot ~ $575
Cinnamon Stick is a 14.2h, 18 yr old, red roan appy mare.
The feedlot owner said this horse was well trained so we hoped on.
She is easy to tack up but swished her tail when we tightened the girth and pinned her ears so one will need to watch for that. Other then that she was easy to bridle and get on.
She has a cute way of going.
Has a smooth trot and canter however she was hard to get into the canter. The arena was slick so that might have been the reason she did not want to canter.
Pretty easy to ride and cute as can be!
Commanche ~ on the feedlot ~ $700
Commanche is an 8 - 10 yr old, 15.1+h paint gelding.
This is a very friendly horse that does not have mean bone in his body.
He is big boned and stout - looks like he would make an excellent trail horse!
He does not know much and kept putting his tongue over the bit.
We only walked and trotted because of the footing and his lack of training.
He did that without any issues at all.
He stood still when we got on and really tried to do all that was asked of him.
He needs some fine tuning with giving to pressure and turning but well worth the effort.
Look how kind his eyes are - an in your pocket kind of horse.
Sweety Dun Bar ~ on the feedlot ~ $575
Taffy - 2004 Reg Dun QH mare.
WE were told that this mare had not been ridden for quite some time but she did great!
No issues just needs some fine tuning on neck reining.
She split reins nice a has a good trot and a wonderful willing attitude.
She is papered but the original owner wants $50 for them.
$575 does not include papers
Traveller ~ on the feedlot ~ $575
Blus Dee Poco - 4 year old, 14.2h, Blk/brn QH reg gelding.
This gelding was a little fresh but was willing to do what was asked of him.
He could use some more training but well worth the effort!
He is cute, small, willing and athletic.
He is well put together, and would make a great for horse for someone that is willing to give him am education.
He is papered but the original owner wants $50 for them.
$575 Does not include the papers
Lady Love ~ on the feedlot ~ $700
11 yr old, 15.1h chestnut mare.
This is a sweet mare that easily could be pregnant but we make no promises either way.
She was gentle to ride but we did not ride her much because she looks heavy with foal.
Walk, trotted and cantered nicely.
She will make a great all around horse, she has the mind and build to go in any direction.
Commander ~ on the feedlot ~ $475
18 year old, 16.2h bay TB gelding.
The feedlot owner reported that the owner stated that this horse was trained 2nd Level Dressage and was ridden on the trails.
He was super easy to ride and willing.
It took him a little while to remember about going onto the bit but once he did it he was more then willing.
This guy is thin and might not be as quiet when he is up to his maximum weight.
All an all a very nice gentleman.
Owner sold because she has MS and can not afford to take care of him anymore.
